Is it common that 4% from employerfor the first year?
4% from employer and 5% from employee for the first year and 9% from employer.
CPF website 13% from employer. But it also says that "If you have obtained Singapore Permanent Resident status in the last 2 years, please contact us for the rates of CPF contributions."
No wonder companies are eager to apply PR for new employee....
