IIIMF in fedora core
once i use english enviornment to log in, i'm not able to use IIIMF since i cannot add any other language support, wonder whether they will do something about it in the coming fedora core 4

probably no
because if you choose En environment, probably your LC_ALL is en_US, then iiimf can not be used.
please check different input methods documentation for detail of setting LC and XIM variables.
btw, I recommand fcitx, which is small and powerful.

还有,我的terminal的字体变得很难看,怎么调回来
i add this sentence in /etc/sysconfig/i18n
LC_CTYPE="zh_CN"
then i can use iiimf

terminal: gnome 2.7.3
click terminal -> set Character Encoding, i can see the current encoding is Current Locale(GB2312), i want to change to Unicode, but failed.

that setting in terminal is for you to read chinese properly
for font's looking. well, generally if you use some default font packs , it will look like that.
for me, I manually choose the font for terminal to be courier , so that it will look much better. (when i was in FC)
some taiwanese got a very nice font for chinese, it is like 楷书? i am not know exact name, which will give a better looking for you whole system

hmmm, can't remember, should be 3.0 something
used to make it working
make a symbolic link of the chinese input method into the english locale folder, and it will work perfectly.
but the chinese input method from iiimf is not so easy to use. scim is better.
Abandoned fedora for quite some time already, now staying with gentoo, more flexible, and it will teach u more.
Going to try LFS soon :D
