问一个问题，关于corporate finance的

以前一直以为只有那些financial institution（比方说银行和brokerage firm）才有corporate finance department的，最近才知道一些大型企业也有，不知道在non financial institution的corporate finance做，前景和待遇如何？

（不好意思，我知道应该发去求职版更合适，但对金融业有了解的朋友们大多来这个板块，谢一个先）

it's good to move to non-financial institutions' CF department only

after one has accumulated some experience in a CF House. imagine as an internal CF professional, your client is one and only one.

i know some company call their finance department corporate finance and does payroll.

for corp finance houses, we do IPO, M&A advisory, FA and IFA, valuation, right issues, bonds and warrants, convertible securities, placement, etc.

So hope the internal CF is defined in the same manner.

I agree with CFA that experience and exposure wise, a CF house is a much better place to start with.

You will help execute and support the Group in corporate finance, project finance, mergers & acquisitions and strategic planning activities. There will be opportunities for you to work on interesting and challenging assignments and contribute to the Group growth and expansion.

Is it defined in the same manner as the CF houses?

sounds similar but i would tend to think that u should make it clear

if u got a chance at interviews or by any other means.

For a finance house, we act as Advisors to corporates, especially listed ones as there is a requirement for listed companies to be be advised by finance professionals.

go for it if it is a good corporate name. however my previous comment is still valid: by working as an interal CF professional, you only have one client. Both DengKe and myself have no difficulty citing more client names in our CVs.
