To have records of Xiangqi Activities in Singapore since 1994 .......
i.e. the Singapore xiangqi records of past 15 years to show to all Asian countries on 20 Oct 2008 (less than 11 months from now), we have only about 8 to 9 months to get the draft ready, say by end Aug 2008.

The contributions from all xiangqi clubs and xiangqi lovers in Singapore are the critical success factors for this task, of course, lead by SIXGA is a must.)

During the discussion with Sixga chairman this morning ......

regarding past records of xiangqi activities, the first step is to get softcopies of records from 1995 till now from the three secretary-generals before editing for the webpage creation.(卷心菜, your area ?)

I have also given a copy of the suggestions from 卷心菜 to him.

The thinking now is to compile somethings for Sixga 75th Anniversary celebration, the information for webpage release could be in stages, please wait for further update.

to save printing cost and all past records (1934 to 1994) are in 40th, 50th and 60th SIXGA's anniversary celebration publications.

After the Bishan Cup 2008, we are considering to help in compiling the Singapore Xiangqi Activties and Clubs in the past 10 years, 1998 to 2008.

We hope most of the xiangqi clubs if not all could have join effort to work on it.

As indicated in the past postings, I have collected the SIXGA newsletters No. 1 to No. 11, 1998 to 2007 and some beidou publications .....

need to add on those before 27 Jun 2002 .....

i.e. the time allocation and each round to have one team walk over if there are 9 teams only.

As mentioned previously, SIXGA publications for 40th, 50th and 60th Anniversaries had quite a good records of past activities. The missing parts could be from the 60th Anniversary Celebration till todate.

Personally, I suggest to divide the major work into three smaller tasks :

A) 4 years records from the 60th Anniversary Celebration till Oct 1998 including The Singapore Open 早报杯 1998. (someones to work on it)

B) 10 years records from Nov 1998 to mid Oct 2008 as a present for all Asian Countries coming to attend

C) one year record from mid Oct 2008 till SIXGA 75th Anniversary Celebration at end 2009 (someones to work on it)

D) someones to work on the combination of Parts (A), (B) and (C) to have a 15-Year records or even to include all the previous anniversary publications to become a 75-Year records.

I am willing to join the team to work on Part (B).

This could be my last "big" piece of work in xiangqi if 2009 visit to West Malaysia is not on. After this should be all the small small pieces of works if any.

you are a very good candidate as You were SIXGA Deputy Secretary-Genenal in 1998 & 1999, and followed by the post of Secretary-Genenal in 2000 & 2001.

几度 worked as SIXGA EXCO member in 2000 & 2001.

As for 棋人生, as SIXGA auditor in 2000 & 2001.

Of course, the records of Singapore Xiangqi, 1998 to 2008 should be from the views of all Singapore Xiangqi lovers, including SIXGA BUT NOT only SIXGA, this is my condition for joining the team if any.
