not true for 全国赛 in the last 10 years .......
since 1997, the total number of players for 全国赛 keep on dropping and the trying of combined system in 2005 and 2006 could not revert the trend.
In fact, the number of players in 2008 was the highest since 2005 ......
I do not think we are able to change back to the old days before 1997 due to the pace of living now ....
