I noticed that Queentown joined Sep 2007 Albert Centre Team Event and Nov 2007 Pasir Ris East C.C. Team Event but not this open event.
In fact, all xiangqi clubs should try to attend this coming team event if they have no problem in forming team(s) as most of xiangqi clubs are under PA and logically should give support to this PA's HQ event and Nee Soon South C.C. could be seen as ³Ð°ì only. (same as sudoku for Bishan C.C.)
Before Nov 2007 Pasir Ris East C.C. Team Event, ÆåÒ»Éú mentioned thatÅ®»ÊÕòÓÐÏóÆå¹ú¼Ê´óʦ֣Ï鸣×øÕòÊعأ¬¸¨ÒÔ½ñÄêB×é¹Ú¾üÒ¦ÍþºÍ£¬ÒÒ¼¶ÆåÊ¿»ÆÈÙÔÀ£¬ÔÙ¼ÓÉÏ´ÓÒå˳Ìø²ÛµÄÐܹúΰ£¬ÊµÁ¦¶¦Ê¢¡£
But this time Ö£Ï鸣 in Hua Chong team(?), Ò¦ÍþºÍ and »ÆÈÙÔÀ in Beidou team, could this be one of the problems of dual memberships ???!!! ended up Queentown not able to form a team this time ???!!!
Personally, I consider this development is not healthy as I noticed that Queenstown joined 2006 and 2007 Albert Centre Team Events and also sent a few members for the Lantern Xiangqi in Sep 2007 and performed well, but one month later (from 18 Nov 2007 Pasir Ris East C.C. 10-member Team Event) and not able to form a 4-member team for the mind sport......

As for Ò¦ÍþºÍ, I notice that he is under Beidou all the times, so when other told me that he is a member of Queenstown before Pasir Ris East C.C. team event, I do not believe too.
As mentioned in my previous few postings, I have no objection to dual membership but the relevant clubs should be more careful in their own development planning and do not let this issue to affect their progress.
The only solution so far I know is to build up your own team even if you are at the bottom of a few team events initially......getting good players all over the place is not a solution.

"Maintaining a club isn't easy, so we need not expect one to participate in all tournaments."
Due to maintaining a club isn't easy, this is why for dual membership, I always say the player and the clubs concerned should have the same understanding when sending players for external competition, i.e. to represent which team !!! so as not to have any misunderstanding for the clubs concerned.

(ÒýÓà ¼¸¶È:I am happy.Forming 2 teams at Christmas period is difficult. Some more it's wierd if I need to tell a team that they don't play ...)Yes, since there are 16 prizes, I am happy to see 16 teams too .....
but
firstly, all should pay attention to the closing date.
(Two primary school teams wanted to register after closing date but rejected.)
secondly, I believe the organiser also have no plan to amend Rule No. 4.
(one team withdrawn early)
thirdly, it is always the case for the organiser to have a spare team so that they are able to have even number of teams for the competition.
Last but not least, there are a lot of issues for the organiser to tackle but nowaday, I notice that quite a number of players do not appreciate the effort put in by the organiser, what they want just simply to have more chances to play chess, to have better prizes and to complaint. This is also one of the reasons for less xiangqi activities organised nowaday.
From my own experience in Bishan, I am happy that members just simply join the internal competition without knowing the prizes.
We are not ready to organise external team competition with so many incidences happened in the last few years for competitions organised by other organisations.
We are trying with the µÚ3½ì±Ìɽ±È«¹úÏóÆå¸öÈËÈü•ÌµÚ1½ì±Ìɽ±È«¹úÑ¡ÇøÏóÆåÍÅÌåÈü currently for the team competition of non graded players to be held on 1 & 2 Mar 2008 for the 2008»ª×åÎÄ»¯½Ú. If we could handle it well, we may include graded players in future.

queenstown as if they do not have their own 4-member for mind sport,...)dual membershipPlease notice my criteria for dual membership is that it does not cause conflicts among clubs. In practice, a player shall seek for approval on dual membership from his club, and his club is best to acknowledge other clubs about this (because an additional team might affect other's position). Some clubs clearly states dual membership is forbidden, and their players shall not attempt to have it.
In fact, few dual membership can be done without conflicts. Therefore, the difference between our views is just whether to totally forbit it or to let it reasonably exist.

after the Kolam Ayer 3rd Anniversary team event held on 8 Sep 2007 when two young players from Boon Lay representing Feiying in the friendly match.

I do not see any problem if all the above players and clubs concerned have the same understanding of the arrangement although personally I think it will have impact in the longer term.

One more example, for the 10-year old player from Pasir Ris East C.C. joined Bishan as member on 18 Nov 2007 (during the Pasir Ris East C.C.
