(d) 4 weeks’ notice if he has been so employed for 5 years or more.
(4) This section shall not be taken to prevent either party from waiving his right to notice on any occasion.

去了趟律师事务所，收获颇丰跑一天，找律师化200块，半个小时，但是觉得还是学到不少。
Termination:
Termination of employment shall be made either by your written notice six months in advance after the expiration of the original three-year contract, or by a two month written notice by the company at any time.
律师说，我的情况到3年的时候，也就是2008 9月14日，是completion of contract， 和这里的terminate没关系。而且这里的Terminate说的是after the expiration of the original three-year contract， 也就是3年以后我还在这里做的话，那我要给6个月的Notice
也就是说，3年内不能辞职，3年到了合同期满，3年以后继续做的话，给6个月Notice。所以我9月14日可以走，只要在这之前说明我不会再和公司签新的合同就可以
至于他们回复里面的no company in Singapore is allow to employ you while your current employment agreement is in force. Please be advised that you are liable to the damages that you are causing to XXXX and its customer. XXXX will reserve its legal rights regarding your breach of agreement. 等等都是没有根据的，可以认为是恐吓。
如果3年内辞职的话，，走也是可以，Case比较复杂一些，所以希望我还是最好负责一些，我也同意这一点，最多我重新找offer。最后律师帮给我写一个客气的回复，以我的名义正式向公司说，我不会继续签新的合约。
从这件事情，学到不少东西。签合约还是要小心为好，不然给自己惹麻烦。律师说，很多时候老板们说要告你什么的，基本都是吓唬而已，这种小事情很难上庭受理，基本都是调解解决。而且老板方化的钱要多的多。
最后推荐一下这个律师，态度很好 Clifford Law的Helen Chia 。地址google里面可以找到
