相信每个人愿意做贡献的人都很忙，齐启棋，几度，marauder都因为有其他事，无法在上周日参与共同讨论。我本人也在连下一盘棋都没时间的情况下（没有参加3月李美花杯，5月1日友谊赛，5月到6月个人赛，也可能缺席今年后面的所有比赛），跟同样很忙的棋一生，吕兄，一刀n断，峋光一起在上周日展开了这次讨论。因为我认为火云兄不必为吕兄过于担心了。
至于今后，我个人希望新加坡大批学生棋手中的人才应该站出来参与对象总网站的建设，毕竟，相比之下学生是最有空余时间的也是掌握最新网络技术最多的。[卷心菜 (4-15 23:39, Long long ago)]

毕竟上传棋赛消息和结果这个工作量已经不小了。
建议在象总发布一个广告，征求所有棋友自行设计网页，然后copy进CD交予象总参加象总网页设计大赛。优胜者的网页设计将被采用并获得一个奖杯（一个奖杯应该很便宜），也可以免费成为象总5年会员等等。
记得很多东西都是这样征稿收集作品然后选出最佳方案的，包括国大IEEE的网页等等。[卷心菜 (4-16 11:13, Long long ago)]

before the discussion meeting (联谊座谈会) at Nee Soon South C.C. on 4 Mar 2008, 飞鹰象棋队领队周祥杰先生 sounded me out regarding the friendly match with Bishan East on 1 May 2008. I told him that I did not hear anything on this matter. To avoid any misunderstanding, I have stated below :

to confirm that any xiangqi matter for Bishan East is representing by Bishan C.C. Xiangqi Club.
Regarding team friendly match, e.g. if say, Bishan East RC Zone 5 getting the players from the residents in Blocks 135 to 152 of Bishan East for a friendly match, Bishan C.C. Xiangqi Club will be more than happy to help to organise if approached as this is one of the activities to promote community development in Bishan East.
On the other hand, if any organisation within Bishan East getting players all over Singapore with the purpose to win a friendly match, our stands remain the same as indicated in previous note below and we do not agree to this arrangement as such action do not help to promote community development in Bishan East, furthermore, it will not help to upgrade the xiangqi skills of Bishan East residents and it is meaningless.

As mentioned by the name "team friendly match", the main purpose is for players of different teams to know each other so that stronger relationship could be built between teams over times, we should try to fill up with own members so that everyone knows the members of other teams.
If we treat the friendly match as another "serious" competition (winning is the only purpose) and formed the team with players from all over the places, the team is just in "NAME" and it is meaningless.

象总网页讨论小组成员 could not dictate duties in 资料收集, 峋光 and 棋一生 should bring up in SIXGA EXCO meetings on this matter even it may be too late to have target date of Oct 2008.

we are going to lost more and more xiangqi information over times if we do not start to do something to capture Singapore Xiangqi Information, say since 1994. May be we should think about to compile Xiangqi Activities and Clubs in Singapore since, say 1994 as 10 years 团体联赛 started in 1995, last two seasons were at 2003年(9th season)武吉甘柏与2004年(10th season)裕华, if we could have such information by Nov 2008, then this could be a record to show to all Asian countries about Singapore Xiangqi Activities and Clubs in the past, say 15 years. To do a good job, at least all the past and present Secretary Generals of SIXGA since 1994 and some other important committee members should treat this as their responsibilities to keep records for Singapore Xiangqi in their capacities in (our National level organisation) SIXGA's EXCO, either past or present.[齐启棋 (4-19 10:59, Long long ago)]

早期的惹兰登德南队，队员大多住在惹兰登德南附近，队员年纪大的有黄瑞南，郭守德，陈捷藩，黄金木，年纪小的有李庆先，陈有福和我，当时我们每天傍晚都会在圣迈克巴杀的一间咖啡店下棋，并以“惹兰登德南象棋队”的名称，到处东征西讨，与各个棋队交流。后来，由于方建明的加入，棋队实力大增，而我们由于经常与他对弈，棋艺水平有所提高，成为当时实力最强的队伍，与各支棋队进行友谊赛，成绩所向披靡，我印象中，好像是百战百胜，未尝败绩。一支棋队，如果只拘限于某个地区的居民，棋艺水平无法提高，比赛成绩有欠理想，久而久之，队员们会失去兴趣，萌生去意。
我，有福，庆先，由于建明的加盟，都先后晋升甲级棋手。因此，不只是碧山棋队，即使是象总，也要广纳外来人材，以提高我国的棋艺水平，扬威国际。

If you have read my previous few notes in this website, you should notice that I even suggested that say, SIXGA to help two C.C.s to form xiangqi club per year. We should concentrate at the 105 C.C.s level. The 550 RCs' (and many NCs) main objective is to service residents stay in the blocks within the boundary.
Whatever action we are doing, I hope that we are doing it to promote Singapore Xiangqi, and if for RC, especially the residents could be trained to bring up their skills if they are not only to play for fun as the primary objective. I do not like to see people playing politics in Xiangqi area. For a particular RC, if the members are mainly not the residents within the RC boundary, then the service objective is not met.
As mentioned regarding 5 areas for SIXGA and Singapore Xiangqi Lovers on Singapore Xiangqi Development in the coming 2 to 3 years, 全国象棋团体赛 should be the way to encourage more C.C.s to form xiangqi clubs.
Example of 惹兰登德南 was a previous C.C. too, please do not use it to explain say for RC. To form a xiangqi team in RC with players from all over Singapore, the purpose is to be questioned. I suggest this group of star players to form a xiangqi club under one of the 105 C.C.s and they are able to contribute to Singapore Xiangqi Development in the long run.
My last and only advice to this group of star players is "do not play politics in a RC especially if you are not the residents of this RC."

I went out yesterday around 7:30 AM and came back before midnight.
This morning has a check on a few SIXGA publications and noticed that :
(1)
1971年第二届全新象棋团体赛 冠军 Telok Ayer C.C. ...... 殿军 惹兰登德南 C.C.
(2)
1973年第一届全国象棋选区团体赛冠军 was Whampoa, the members were 黄瑞南，陈捷藩，方建明，李庆先和刘剑慧.
