但会长的话终会听的进去吧 ！)可以这么说吧说好听一点吧，我个人的看法，象总是官方承认的代表新加坡象棋的组织；新加坡象棋总会尊重各棋队的自主权，各棋队尊重象总作为棋队的共同代表；象总在棋队间的事务上有很大的协调作用。当然，这只是我个人所见，象总本身应该有更官方的讲法。

But 象总会长 never mentioned anything that was related to your conclusion. My understanding of
象总会长's post was to clarify 象总 supports xiangqi activities and ask all to support coming activities.
So how did you come out with those conclusions?

“罄竹难书”，原本的意思是作恶多端，竹简用尽了都记录不完。这件事情，我本来也是当笑话来看的。直到后来有位朋友对我说，杜正胜做的也不能算错，他的回答，是很标准的官样文章，因为他既不能否认“罄竹难书”原来的贬义，也不能说顶头上司陈水扁错，就只剩下这一个讲法了。退一步说，陈水扁的本意也没错，只是水平有限或是一时口误，用错了成语而已。
从这件事情来看，从事政治的人，和平民百姓对同一件事情的看法和处理手法不同，是因为双方的着重点不同。放到象棋上面来说，棋会的领导和普通棋手的想法，有时候有偏差，是因为大家的侧重点不一样，不是谁对谁错的问题。现在关于这个比赛的帖子和跟帖，也是这样：大家讨论的是棋会，还是棋手？结果说棋会的以为大家都在说棋会，说棋手的以为所有人都在说棋手。大家一开始争论的就不是同一样东西。
我前几天发的帖，已经尝试从两方面分析。现在我觉得有必要重复一下我的观点：我支持华新参赛，是因为华新本身不是棋会，唯一的着眼点是棋手，能促进棋手交流的活动，尤其是能让棋手和一些大师及新秀多一些交流机会，华新支持乃至参与，无可厚非。棋会间的问题，属于政治范畴，应该留在政治层面上解决。棋手是以个人身份代表华新参赛，是对参赛其他几方棋手的认可，对棋会的关系不感兴趣。
当然政治是复杂的。有些棋界元老出于爱护棋手，希望他们置身事外，不被政治波及，可以理解。碧山东的活动是否涉及棋会政治，各棋会上层有充分的时间去识别与调和。碧山东本身的成立是否合乎PA的规范，棋人生多个帖子的解释很好地说明，属于碧山内部事务，他人不宜置喙。碧山象棋会既然已把问题转交上层，大家可以静待处理结果。棋友是否以个人身份代表华新参与这个比赛，对问题的解决并无影响。在棋界争取支持，希望问题可以妥善解决是好的，但如果在论坛上一再反对，却不能提出棋友不能为提高棋艺而参加的有力理由，就容易招致棋手反感了。事情发展到各执一词，以至于象棋总会会长都要出来发声明澄清，委实出人意表。
同样那位朋友对我说过，某大城市的一位老先生，热心象棋，创办了一个网站，让棋友自由交流。开始的时候，因为象棋网站还是新事物，大家都积极参与，一片欣欣向荣。但后来开始有棋友在上面互相指责，因为无人管理，结果一发不可收拾，网站竟沦为各方互相谩骂的场所，往日棋艺讨论的气氛荡然无存。为何？言语失和是一大原因。
抛开在象棋论坛详加讨论政治议题造成的问题不说，一个人所要表达的意思和自己说的话往往有偏差，就跟上面陈水扁的例子一样。论坛是一个比较自由的空间，大家更容易用词不当。每个人再选择用自己的方式去理解，结果就天下大乱了。言语失和，发展到互相敌对，不是很无谓的纷争吗？这次的事情，双方一开始在摆事实讲道理，后来就发展到互相指责了。其实在这个帖子之外，都还和平得很，但这个帖子可以说是一个不好的开端。为了这个帖子，卷心菜私下跟我感慨，说很多论坛都是从无到有，从小到大，人数从少到多，然后就开始骂战，最后就消亡了。大家一开始都是抱着热忱进来的，除了喜欢损人利己的，会有谁希望最后这样子收场呢？所以我在我前一帖的基础上，再发这帖，并提出两点呼吁：
政治的问题，请在政治层面上解决。
在论坛上，大家多一点容忍，并注意用词，减少言语失和。

especially after alerted 象总会长 on the serious of "谣言" post. (in fact, to me, it is a surprise that 象总会长 sent the 跟帖 as he told me just to ignore it.)
Please read your own post on how you close the "fix" issue and how many times you need to say sorry and apology to different people just in the past three weeks !!!

Tell you one more thing. Few years back, someone used few hundred dollar to buy a win from his opponent to get 乙级. His opponent later told the whole world about it. Yes the whole world. Most forumers here heard it. This is real fixing. This person in the end could not perform in many competitions after promoted.
