Team Event for 16 teams -- similar to Lee Bee Wah's Cup (5 + 2 rounds) by Nee Soon South C.C.

Team Composition -- 1 leader, 4 players and 2 reserve (Player for Board 1 is 40 yrs old or above)


20 Dec 2007 (Public Holiday, 11 am to 6 pm) -- 3 rounds

25 Dec 2007 (Public Holiday, 11 am to 9 pm) -- 4 rounds

12 Jan 2008 -- Prize Giving with 16 selected players (40 yrs old and above) to play on 8 boards.

start at 10 AM ......

I believe that those teams which are eligible will receive the news .... through official way, I just help to spread the news in 悟入棋途 lah ..... it is better to check with the organiser for queries.


My understandings from the write-ups :

法定机构 : HDB, LTA, ..........

各CC : 人协属下单位

北斗队: 注册团体组织

飞鹰队 : not 注册团体组织, but could form under Pasir Ris East C.C. (?!)

私人公司 : should be considered as 注册团体组织

裕华队 ：still can form under 裕华 C.C. (?!)

华新网 : ??

e.g. Final for the top 4 teams on 12 Jan 2008 from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Likely,

6 + 1 system will be used instead of 5 + 2 system used in Lee Bee Wah's Cup.

The organiser will inform all regarding the method on the first day, i.e. 20 Dec 2007.

How many teams for this coming mind sport xiangqi team event ?

Since this event could be compared to Lion City Cup Group A, if there are more than 8 teams, e.g. 10, 12, 14 or 16 teams to register for the event, then we will see very keen competition on 20 & 25 Dec 2007 at Nee Soon South C.C., without saying is the final for the top four teams on 12 Jan 2008 at Suntec City.

20 & 25 Dec are selected mainly due to the full booking of Nee Soon South C.C. hall on all other dates until Jan 2008, otherwise there are even more teams if the event is to be held on 5 & 6, 12 & 13 Jan 2008 (The Mind Sports Week End).

We should know the number of teams soon with the registration to be clsoed today.

由团体联赛与狮城杯（A组）看来，任何比赛都必须有这八支历史背景的队伍参加，包括义顺南，哥南亚逸，文礼，北斗，波那维斯达，加基武吉，飞鹰与淡滨尼东。另三支队伍甘榜格南，白沙东与碧山的表现则不大理想。今年初，在飞鹰加盟白沙东后，有可能的话，一般的团体赛应尽可能包括上述十支队伍。

out of the 10 teams, at least 8 teams have organsied some activities in 2007, the other two teams are not so active due to the limitations (could be in 2007 only) etc.
